APPROACH & PHILOSOPHY
I've spent more than 15 years supporting leaders, helping job seekers, 'managing' change, and building HR processes and practices across a variety of industries. Amidst all of these experiences, one thing has continued to fascinate me: as individuals or organizations, we want to change, and yet we often seem to get in our own way when it comes to change. This is what we call a paradox: a contradiction, or opposing statements that are both true.
For some, paradoxes are super frustrating, but I love a good paradox, so much so that I've made it my mission to help others love them too...or at least become a little more comfortable with them.
My work is grounded in the core beliefs that:
We can change. It's an easy out to say that people and systems can't change.
Curiosity kickstarts change: When we are curious enough to hold up a mirror to ourselves, ask ourselves tough questions and vulnerable enough to answer from the heart, we create the conditions for deep awareness and change.
Sometimes we can't go it alone. Even smart, talented and highly capable people can benefit from an external and objective sounding board.
